The Unbelievable Mozart - Consortium Classicum

These are all chamber music works for winds or winds and strings that are somehow related to Mozart. They are (more or less) contemporary re-workings of Mozart's own compositions, works whose attribution to Mozart is likely but uncertain or reconstructions from fragments. Almost all pieces have been recorded here for the first time.

The CDs were originally published as ?Mozart! Vol. 1, 2, etc., and later re-issued as a boxed set under the title The Unbelievable Mozart.

  2. Hi
Thanks very much for these. I heard one of them (don't know which now) on the radio many years ago. I've despaired ever since of finding the work again because of the oblique relationship to the composer. But here it is in its full glory (with all its little mates). Thanks for your effort and all the best to you into futurity.

  3. Why nobody says that Vol. 4 & 6 are not complete? WinRar says: Unexpected end of archive for both volumes. I hope there is a way to complete this excellent series. Thanks!

  4. I can only suggest you try downloading them again. Sometimes the download of a file times out and remains incomplete.
You can use Winrar to check the individual parts that you already have. It should be able to tell you which files are the truncated ones that need replacing.
